Instead of cooking for the blog this weekend, I found myself cooking for PopUp Dinner Brooklyn. An outdoor dinner with musical entertainment by Handmade Events.
They provide the chairs and tables, and the attendees bring everything else. Food, drink, tablecloth and napkins and everything else needed to enjoy a slap up meal with friends.
I attended with Corrine of Absolute Events by Corrine, and Jasmine of Fanci Fantastic. Corrine and Jasmine were the perfect partners for this event. I created a simple menu, Corrine designed the table and Jasmine provided the champagne and dessert.
We had so much fun. This was our first popup dinner, and we didn’t know what to expect, so we went simple, with the plan of attending next year armed with full knowledge of what to expect.

Set up started at 5pm, dinner at 7pm and the entertainment concluded at 10pm. It was a fabulous event, and I will make sure to have my fingers poised for next year’s PopUp Brooklyn Dinner.
