Are you looking for a simple sangria that is light and fruity? Well today’s recipe, Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon Sangria, is it. You simply blend some strawberries and watermelon, add triple sec and top with sparkling rose wine. Delicious!
Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon Sangria is a fabulous cocktail to share with family and friends. None for the kids of course, but the adults will have a good time sipping on this.
Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon Sangria is part food and part liquor, the ideal brunch cocktail. This recipe serves six, but I warn you, that will not be enough. When I have guests I usually make this one over and over again until they tell me to stop.
Admittedly, this is not the cocktail for those finicky folks who do not like pulp, but they will be the losers as the pulp is where the fruity tasty goodness lives. It’s a smashing drink for fruit lovers who enjoy a little wine and fizz.
I usually like to point out the health benefits in the ingredients I use in recipes, but I can’t with this one as the wine pretty much cancels out any benefits. However, if you and your family and friends get together to share a pitcher of Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon Sangria, I’m sure you will agree that the benefits will be immense.
