Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce – I can’t get enough of this sauce. It’s sweet, it’s spicy and smokey, it’s a gastronomic trifecta of flavors.

An obvious combination of ingredients – honey and Sriracha – but that’s not it! Sesame oil is added, that magical ingredient that adds a smokiness, and fabulous nomnom flavor.

Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce, is a great for dipping, but it has other uses that should not be ignored. You can spread it on sandwiches; use as a marinade; use it as a condiment. You can even toss your wings in it. Oooh, that’s a great idea.

This recipe makes approx. 8 oz of sauce. As a result, you will get to enjoy it more than once – isn’t that great?!

This sauce hits three peppers on the spicy scale – that’s hot. You can make it milder by adding more honey, but that will make it sweeter and change the balance of the sauce. I recommend serving as is, but I am a spicy food lover.

I recently served my Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce with some crispy fried cauliflower bites. It was just me and cousin Tracy. We dipped the cauliflower florets in our own singular serving of sauce, smacked our lips and marveled at the flavors. We washed it down with a few Mezcal Negronis, our favorite winter cocktail, before moving on to the next course.

Have you tried Mezcal? It’s my favorite drink right now. It’s a strong smokey alternative to Tequila, and I’d like to think because of me, experiencing a renaissance. Check out my Mezcal Negroni recipe, and join our Mezcal appreciation club.

But I digress, Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce is a nice spicy treat for your next cocktail party, so give it a try and let me know what you think.
