Miami Caribbean Carnival was so much fun again this year. I try to go every year to shake up my behind to the latest soca music, bask in the Florida sunshine and enjoy the traditional Caribbean food on offer.
Note to self: when traveling and blogging, make sure the wi-fi in the hotel provides enough bandwidth to allow you to do what is required!
Last week, I had great plans to add to my blog while in Miami for the 2015 Caribbean Carnival. I had some well thought out posts to create, all I needed was a comfortable room with a balcony and a view.
People are always asking me “why do you use kosher salt?” Or “what’s the difference between Himalayan pink salt and sea salt?” Or “why do you use those fancy salts – just to be different?”
Salt is one of a few vital ingredients in cooking, and we have such a variety available to us that I thought it would be good to share my preferred cooking salts with you.
