Cheese and Artichoke Dip is a yummy dish and is very simple to create and a touch addictive, so beware! Thankfully, it’s great for sharing with a crowd, hence the responsibility of eating it doesn’t rest on your shoulders alone.
It only takes a few minutes to whip up Cheese and Artichoke Dip. Frozen artichokes are cooked and blitzed in a processor before mixing with cheese, cream and mayo, and finally seasoned with pepper and Worcestershire sauce. It’s a totally delightful dish, and great as an appetizer or snack.
Cheese and Artichoke Dip will serve as a great opener to any event, large or small. Moreover, it can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven or wrapped in foil on top of a grill, and you will find it tastes as if it was just made.

I think what I’m saying is, is that Cheese and Artichoke Dip can be served at almost any event.
This is a dish that hits high on the calorie meter, but that’s no surprise. To avoid over-consumption I served it in ramekins as individual portions. Alternatively, you can use a shallow overproof dish and let everyone dive in.
I prefer to serve this Cheese and Artichoke Dip recipe with baked crackers. They’re a simple platform for all those yummy flavors and add a nice crunch with every bite. Most importantly they are low in calories, and by the same token, baked flour tortillas are a great accompaniment too.

Cheese and Artichoke Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz frozen artichoke hearts
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- Dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 cup gruyere cheese shredded
Equipment & Utensils
- Food processor
- 6 ovenproof ramekins
- baking tray
Instructions
- Cook artichoke hearts in accordance with directions on packaging, and allow to cool.
- Place artichoke hearts in a food processor and pulse a few times to chop up artichokes.
- Transfer artichokes to a mixing bowl and add mayo, cream, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and parmesan and mix thoroughly.
- Place ramekins on a baking tray and then fill each ramekin with artichoke mixture leaving a little space at the top.
- Top with a layer of gruyere and then place in a preheated oven at 375.
- Allow cheese to completely melt before placing under the broiler at a high heat until golden.
- Allow to cool just a little before serving with crackers or tortillas.
