I made sirloin lettuce wraps yesterday, and that’s the recipe I want to share with you today. Get ready, sirloin lettuce wraps are delicious.
Sirloin lettuce wraps are a sweet savory concoction made of sirloin steak pieces, sweet peppers, garlic and onions and eggplant braised in classic Asian flavors. They’re so good.
I also included sliced scallions and red pepper flakes on the side to add a punch of flavor. There are no rules with this dish. You can serve with nuts, dips or fresh chillies, the choice is yours.
If you’re wondering what lettuce to use, well, as I said, there are no rules. I served Boston, Bibb and Iceberg. Mixing the varieties of lettuce just adds to the fun of the meal, and variety is the spice of life!
Sirloin lettuce wraps can be whipped up quickly and on the dinner table within 30 minutes. Thus, an ideal recipe for a weeknight meal. You can even create this dish a day in advance and serve the next day, for those evenings when you have no time to fuss in the kitchen.
If you have kids, they’ll love this recipe too. They get to build their own dinner and sprinkle it with a selection of toppings, gather everything together and push it in their mouths. What could be more fun?!
I truly adore meat lettuce wraps, I don’t know why I don’t eat them more often. Most noteworthy, I’m doing my best to adhere to a low carb diet, and this is a great meal if you are on a low carb diet.
Give it a try.
