I love these spicy chicken canapés. Two bites and they’re gone, and on to the next.
These canapés are super easy and quick to make, and oh so tasty. Just get some frozen fillo pastry shells and pop them in the oven as directed, then mix the rest of the ingredients together, and fill the shells. Easy right?
Spicy chicken canapés are treat to the senses, and they didn’t last very long when I made them. My mother was the biggest fan of these tasty bites. She’s visiting me from the UK for a few months. There will be many mother/daughter bonding sessions, so I will have to make these canapés again.
This is a very simple recipe, so feel free to experiment. If you are out of cooked chicken, use tinned tuna. Instead of Sriracha, used red pepper flakes or jalapeños. This is one of those recipes that requires little effort but gives maximum yum factor.
As I mentioned, these are easy to make and super tasty, and for that reason they deserve a spot on my 12 recipes of Christmas this year. Do yourself a favor and put this recipe on your list of things to make for the holidays.
